Mile End Results

Hi All,

Results click here : http://www.scribd.com/doc/178639863/Full-Results-Event-1-2013-2014

Well what can we say - the first event of our second season was so much fun! A HUGE turn out which was the biggest to date with around 400 climbers at the ever impressive and ever welcoming Mile End.

I think you will all agree that Mile End has under gone some impressive changes since Blokfest 2012 with the huge free standing boulder and excellent slab in the secret garden.  Along with all the inside areas this made for some great blocs throughout the day and a set of finals that was certainly one that won't be forgotten!

Contributing towards the festival atmosphere we had the Rock-On sales tent, Phi-Phi soup kitchen, round sponsors Red Chilli shoe demo, DMM/ Marmot stands, Boot Bananas stand, Live DJ's and of course a lot of boulder problems and the infamous 'special challenge'.

With Blokfest running on a Sunday for the first event Gaz having to fly straight to Norway to set the Norwegian nationals we have been pretty short of time getting scores together but hopefully the pictures coming in on our Facebook Page have been keeping you entertained. https://www.facebook.com/Blokfestuk

A special thanks to round sponsors Red Chilli who supplied a fantastic pool of prizes and giveaways. Other prizes and
from whom the event would of not been possible came from: DMM, Marmot, Rock-On, Beastmaker, Boot Bananas, Holdz, Volx and Pump Volumes. A further special thanks for the support and effort from Five Finger Thing for the new t-shirts and vests which look super slick! Cheers guys you are legends.

For now check out the link for all the results from Mile End and a huge congratulations to the climbers who made the podium.

* Vet climbers applogies as this comes from an internet café in France and we left your scorecards in London - sorry we promise to make it up to you :-)

More photos and updates coming soon - for now I need to get out of this bizarre Cyber Café and on the blocs in the forest.
